The Freecom 4X intercom is ideal for talking to your travel companion, listening to music from your mobile phone, making phone calls and listening to GPS directions with the touch of a finger or the sound of your voice.
What is the difference between the SPIRIT line and the FREECOM X line?
The FREECOM X line offers Sound by JBL speakers, Live Intercom and an ergonomic control wheel and introduces the new Live Intercom system, a Bluetooth link with automatic reconnection of up to 4 riders, with very high quality real-time sound transmission and a range of 1.2 KM. Finally, the always-on Natural Voice function makes the custom of having to press a button obsolete. Just say "Hey, Cardo" into your helmet and ask for what you want, your FREECOM 4X will do the rest.
Freecom is compatible with other intercoms in its range thanks to the universal communication system OBI (Open Bluetooth Intercom) which allows to associate bluetooth devices of different brands (Midland, Cardo and Uclear) without compromising the functionality or the quality of the sound and without interfering with others functions, such as GPS navigation or receiving phone calls. In practice: the OBI standard allows "direct duplex communication" between Bluetooth-enabled devices, creating a unified network to which motorcyclists can connect regardless of the brand of the device.
This intercom is resistant to water, mud, snow, sand, heat and cold and has a practical wheel for selecting functions, as well as the possibility of being updated wirelessly, using an app on your smartphone.
